FEES & REBATES
Please note: The Australian Psychological Society National Schedule of Recommended Fees (2024–2025) lists the standard fee for a 46–60 minute psychology consultation at $311.
At Fuller Life Psychology, we are committed to providing high-quality psychological care that is both thoughtful and accessible. Despite offering extended consultation times that allow for deeper therapeutic work, our fees remain below APS-recommended rates on an hourly basis. We also offer a range of rebate and funding options, along with telehealth appointments, to support accessibility and flexibility in care.

Individual Therapy Session
Initial Assessment (90 minutes) $ 320.00 + processing fee
Ongoing Sessions (90 minutes) $ 300.00 + processing fee
Our extended individual sessions allow time for meaningful therapeutic work, reflection, and evidence-based intervention without the pressure of a rushed standard consultation. Individual Therapy fees apply to children, adolescents, and adults.
Initial Couples or Family Session (120 minutes) $ 560.00 + processing fee
Ongoing Couples or Family Session (120 minutes) $ 560.00 + processing fee
Couples Online Assessment $39USD
Couples' and family work often requires additional time to explore relational patterns, communication dynamics, and practical strategies in a meaningful way. Our extended sessions are intentionally designed to support this depth of work.
The full session fee is payable at the time of your appointment.
PLEASE NOTE: The allocated appointment time includes not only your therapeutic session, but also approximately 10 minutes of professionally required time for confidential case notes, clinical documentation, and associated administrative tasks necessary to support safe, ethical, and high-quality psychological care.
Couples and Family Therapy
GP Referrals and Medicare Rebates
Individuals with a valid GP referral under a Mental Health Care Plan, dated in the last 12 months, may be entitled to a Medicare rebate of $98.95 per individual session.
Eligible clients can currently access rebates for up to 10 individual sessions per calendar year, typically structured as:

Initial referral: up to 6 rebated sessions

Subsequent GP review / re-referral: up to 4 additional rebated sessions
As a courtesy, Fuller Life Psychology can process your Medicare rebate on your behalf at the time of your appointment, helping to make the process simple and convenient. In most cases, rebates are received within 24 hours, provided all referral details meet Medicare requirements.
To help us process your rebate smoothly, please ensure your GP referral includes:

Client’s name, date of birth, and address

Date of referral

Name of referring GP

The number of sessions the patient is being referred for.

States "under a Mental Health Treatment Plan",

Requests the provision of psychological treatment.

States an eligible diagnosis or symptoms.

A list of any current medications.

Signed and dated, and contains either the practice address or provider number.

Medicare rebates apply to individual psychological therapy sessions only

Medicare rebates do not apply to couples counselling, family therapy, or assessment services

Cancellation fees or late cancellation policy charges are not eligible for Medicare rebates
